The Crown Inn at Clunton was built in the 1600s and was once one of two pubs in the village. The Crown Inn was closed in the mid 1990s but was saved when a consortium of local people bought the building before appointing tenants. The Crown has an established reputation for good beers and excellent food.

The Crown offers a delicious, varied menu with choices suitable for vegetarians. There is also a selection of wine from around the world and there is always a selection of real ales on offer.
